About Empower Inspire Life Changes
Empower & Inspire Life Changes, LLC (EILC) primarily provides intensive home-based casework services for youth and families referred by DCS, Probation, and Community Corrections. Home-based casework is also available for pre-adoption and post-adoption services for adoptive families at risk or in crisis. The in-home services provided are to be high quality, family-centered, and culturally competent. These supportive interactions will be effective in reducing maltreatment and seek to improve caretaking and coping skills, enhancing family resilience, supporting healthy and nurturing relationships, ultimately promoting the physical, mental, emotional and educational wellness of the child(ren) in need of services.
EILC will allow child (ren) to stay in or reunify in their home(s) (or foster home); prevent child (ren) initial placement or reentry into foster care; preserve, support, and stabilize families; and promote the well-being of children, youth, and families. EILC provides any combination of the following kinds of services to the families as approved by DCS, probation or other referral source:
The target populations to be served by Empower & Inspire Life Changes LLC primarily are adults (individuals 18-59 years), and children/youth (17 years and younger) residing in Marion, Boone, Hamilton, Madison and Hendricks counties. Importance will be placed on providing services to families who have been identified to need supportive services to referred supports by Choices, Inc. Further Empower & Inspire Life Changes LLC primary will also serve members of unserved, underserved, and inadequately served communities, including but not limited to: Latinos, Native Americans, African Americans, Refugee groups, and members of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, and Intersex (LGBTQI) and disabled communities. Empower & Inspire Life Changes LLC, will be committed to serving all populations, and families that are identified as needing services.
